Foster an Old Fella…
Old Fella Foster Homes are our lifeline. Because we have no shelter facility, when an animal in need is brought to Old Fella, we rely on the availability of a foster home to allow for the rescue of that animal. Fostering a rescued Old Fella cat or dog is an immeasurably rewarding experience. By opening up your home to an animal in need, you are saving a life and enriching your own.
Fostering can last anywhere from a few days to a few months, depending on the needs of the animal and our ability to find a forever home. All Old Fella Foster Dogs have free weekly obedience training available to them. Old Fella also receives periodic donations of dog food and supplies, which are distributed to foster homes to ease any financial burden occasioned by being a foster parent. And of course, Old Fella covers the cost of veterinary care for all of its rescues.

Support a Foster! If you are not in a position to foster an Old Fella rescue, perhaps you would consider volunteering your time to support other volunteers who are fostering. Read More.
